Collection is showing blank value in column even though there is data in the column

Hello everyone,

I have a Power App where data from a SharePoint list is displayed. I am collecting SharePoint list data in a collection.

When I display collection in a data table or gallery, it shows values in all columns. I am facing problems with one particular 'Single line of text' while filtering data. When I filter data with equal operator it does not work. It shows me that all column values are blank.

I tried following steps to troubleshoot the issue :

1. Fetch values using LookUp

LookUp(testCollection,ID=22).TestColumn

It returned Blank result.

2. Concat column values

Concat(testCollection,TestColumn,";")

It returned series of semicolons showing blank column values for each row.

I checked my access. I tried to refresh data connections in PowerApps, but the problem persists. I am using PowerApps portal version# 3.24091.13. Please help me to resolve this issues. Thank you in advance.

Hi ABC5,

Logically, both should return data - the first if there is a value in TestColumn on the record with ID of 22 and the second if there is any value in any TestColumn record. You are saying that you can see the collection in a gallery, so to be honest, the result you have posted makes no sense. What type of app is this (Canvas/Integrated) ?

Can you share what data in there in your collection? you can click on collection and then expand in Power Fx formula.

@CA1105 : I have added screenshot of data. It's a simple text column. Data is not stored in an object inside the field.

@WarrenBelz : It is a canvas app with SharePoint list a as data source.

Hi ABC5

What do you mean by "an object inside the field". Also your screenshot only shows the fields ID and Value - where is TestColumn ?
