importing data fails to import lookup values

Hello

I'm stuck trying to import the data for the powerup challenge.  The ParkingRequests table does not get the vehicle column data and the ParkingInspections table does not get the data for vehicle or parkingrequests.

Importing from CSV and importing from Excel do not show the lookup column to be mapped.  In this image, i was trying to import from Excel to ParkingRequests, I manually mapped the parkingrequestname and the date and time but there is no option to map the data for the vehicle column.

I was reading from other people's posts but haven't been able to fix this.
any suggestions?
Thanks
RT

Can you confirm that you've created the Vehicle table and that you've created the relationship/lookup from  ParkingRequests to Vehicle?

The best way to carry out this import is to create a model driven app and to import the CSV in the same way that was described in the course. Can you confirm that you're using this approach?

thanks for the reply.  I have created the tables in dataverse in the order recommended. I made sure the lookup columns are created before trying the import. After that, I tried the import from within the dataverse, which fails.
I created a few records manually, so I know the lookup works as expected.

thanks for reminding me to do this from the Model-Driven app.  I thought importing from dataverse was the same and got stuck with that idea but it does not work the same way.  Anyway, doing it from the Model-Driven app works fine.

For others having this issue, do the import from the model driven app.  If you do not remember how, check out the video "Building Model-Driven apps for a school with MS Dataverse", step 14 shows how to do this from Power Apps.

    thanks appreciate the help,

For anyone else reading this, here's the follow on post from FA-06050254-0 regarding the parking inspection table import.
