Try importing the tables using the new table UI.

Hi , thank you for reply

i have already created the tables, relationships, forms and views. so i have to delete every thing again and create everything new in this approach. whenever i try to delete tables or relationship system says they have dependencies. there is no way i can import data into already created tables or can merge newly created and existing table?

You can import the parking inspection data into the tables you created by creating a model driven app, running the app, and selecting the Import from Excel option as highlighted beneath.

For reference, this is the technique that was shown in the training video. I used this method and it worked for me ok.

    Hi

    thank for your reply
attached is the file with few screenshots, kindly have a look
I have tried to import the data in model driven app, but it shows errors and only 144 success entries.
I tried to transfer data into a new table where vehicle and parking request selected as "text" rather than lookup, it worked and there was no errors.
Then i tried the excel online way to copy paste the data into the lookup columns and then save, but it showed the same errors. Although this method worked in parking request column.

    pdf contains all pics

    thank you

The error suggests an issue with the lookup value. You can't import it if the value doesn't exist in the parent table (Parking Request). The The import data order:
    1. Vehicles
    2. Parking Request
    3. Parking Inspections

When importing using Excel Online, try with a few cells first to ensure it works before importing everything at once.

I concur with WP -  the problem is going to be because those records are missing from the parking request table. Can you visually inspect the records in the Parking Request table and ensure that PR-994057, PR-994055, PR-994054 and all the others listed below exist in the table?

make sure that the import column is the primary name column in the parent table.
