Dataverse with E5 licensing

Hello,

We are a non-profit 501c3, and have an environment with E5 licenses for most users. I'm looking into Dataverse to bring some of my disparate database data together in one place. I'm having a hard time finding information about whether our environment is limited to the 2GB I keep seeing with Dataverse for Teams, or not. I'll need more than 2GB to do what I want.

Under my license I see both Common Data Service for Teams and Common Data Service for E5. But not sure how to interpret that.

    HI @pbrainard ,

Please check the available capacity from admin power platform using below link,

    https://admin.powerplatform.microsoft.com/resources/capacity

The capacity is also determined by the no of users available in your tenant + the amount of capacity utilized with current data.

Refer to this link for more details - New Microsoft Dataverse storage capacity - Power Platform | Microsoft Docs

    Hi @pbrainard ,

From a licensing perspective, even as 501c3 with E5 licensing you will not receive full Dataverse licensing (i.e. through PowerApps) unless you utilize Power Apps Per App, Power Apps Per User licensing.

The good news is that as a Microsoft recognized non-profit 501c3 you should get some "free" Power Apps Per App licensing.  Currently there are 10 free Power Apps Per App licenses that will be granted (see faq).  With the first user you will get 5GB storage for your tenant and then 50MB for each based on storage allocation grants (see chart below from licensing guide).

Additional licenses are priced very well for non-profits as well to extend to additional users.
