I have a created an Automated Pipeline with the help of Power App, Power Automate and SharePoint list, below is a small description/background of the process.
Power App:
Responsible for capturing some data via the App and using Patch function to write back to the SharePoint list
I am not using any Gallery/Collection to write from to the SharePoint list, a couple of simple input boxes/drop-downs are in place
Issue:
Patch function doesn't work sometimes to write back to SharePoint list
SharePoint List:
I have created a SharePoint list to capture data from Power App, to describe the permissions scenario, whoever are the PowerApps users are also added to SharePoint list under "List Permission Settings" as "Contribute" role so no one is left out
Power Automate:
As soon as the new item is added in the SharePoint list, we trigger an email via Outlook action to the user
Issue:
Sometimes in case of password or tokens reset/expiry/ the action fails to send an email via my account. Will creating and using "Service Account" to send emails instead will solve this issue? If not what's a better way to do it?
