Relative Date Slicer Not Working on Filter Testing Page

Hi,

I’m having an issue with filter testing page where a relative date slicer causes  this error: "Error fetching data for this visual. An unexpected error occurred (file '', line , function ''). When applying filters like Last 3 Months.

"What I’ve done Relationship is active: Loans[Date Loan Start]dimDate[Date] (many-to-one). - Dates exist in both tables and match- Tried multiple anchor dates (01/01/2024, today’s date, etc.) — same error.Visual loads fine without the slicer - No filters are blocking the data.

Any idea why the slicer breaks the visual even though the setup looks correct?

Thanks!

There is a known issue, due to the different date type between dateLoanStart column (Date/Time) in Loan table and Date column (Date) in dimDate table.
Simply, you need to change data type of the dateLoanStart column to Date only in Power Query.

If the issue persists after you've made the fix, please share the visual table settings so we can take a closer look.

    Hi,
Thanks  for the suggestion. I’ve updated the dateLoanStart column to Date type in Power Query as advised, but the issue with the Relative Date slicer on the Filter Testing Page is still persisting.Attached  are the screenshots of the issue, including the loan data . Let me know if there's anything specific you'd like me to share or double-check.

    Appreciate your support!

I'm not entirely sure—could you please try creating a brand-new blank file from scratch? That might help to determine if it's just a settings issue.
If possible, sharing the BI file would make things easier and quicker to troubleshoot.
