School Year/Month Data Disappearing

When I created a relationship between date loan start and date, the data from the school year and month disappeared from my matrix graph. Does anyone know why or how to fix it? I've tried deleting and recreating both the relationship and the graph, but still the same issue.

Same issue on my end as well. Establishing the relationship somehow disables the SchoolYear column.

The time portion of the dates does not match, hence the relationship cannot be seen.

Change the date types in both tables to remove the time, and the month and year will appear.

The date in the Loans table has to be changed on the Power Query page.

hmmm, I've gone through and changed the data type to date one by one for each of the date/time fields, but it did not bring the months and years back.
Can you elaborate on which fields you've changed?

    Hello,

    For Dim Date:

I went to Table View and changed the Date Column format to short date, 4/18/2024. I removed the time.

    For Loan Table:

I went to Table View then hit the 3 dots next to the Table name Loans.

    Clicked on Edit Query.

On the Date Loan Start column, I clicked the Calendar icon in the Heading and changed the Column to Date.  Again removing the Time.

    Close and Apply.

I click refresh on the Home tab in Report View and the Years and Months appeared.

    I hope this helps.
