Exporting forms to Excel

Hi All!

Having trouble figuring this out. I have an app that consists of three forms. There is a submit button that ports the info to a SharePoint list. I'd like to have a backup for that info and export that same data into Excel. I tried to download a solution from github but my company has restrictions on downloads.

Is there a fast way to create a button that exports three forms, totaling about 30 input fields, directly to Excel on onedrive?

Flow is really you're only options unless you create something like a Azure function or something and have the license. But you can pass the data through the PowerApp, or just have the app kick off a flow and the SharePoint ID's used to get the data from the SharePoint list and pass it to an Excel / Csv file.

Shane as always does a good job showing how you can do that: (1) Power Apps Export data to Excel with Flow - Collections to CSV file - Bing video

    Hi @MindfulMike

One way is to have a Power Automate flow where the trigger is Sharepoint - "When an item is created", then your action will be is to "Create a new Row" to an Excel file that has a table. This way is easy and straightforward and it will backup your data in Excel.

Thanks for the link, I've been trying to replicate as much as I can. I have to put everything in a collection first. Will update soon!

Thanks for the response! I already have a SharePoint list being updated with the form info. What im looking for is Power Apps straight to excel as a "backup" to be stored in OneDrive. I think I've found a solution. will update soon!
