Edit current item to submit a new item

hi all,

when I view one item in view mode, there is a "edit" button to go to edit mode for modification(browsegallery is BrowseGallery1, EditForm is [EditForm1_1]). when I click the "√"，I hope this form be saved as new item.

how should I set the "√" and the edit form. [if default mode of [EditForm1_1] is set as new, it will ignore the "item: BrowseGallery1.Selected" of this editform?]

I'm not familiar with code or formula writing.😥

Any suggestion will help.

Forms in new mode ignore the Item property.

In case you want to create a new item when you click the "√" set the form mode to as below
Form1.DefaultMode = FormMode.New
But just to assure this would create a new item.
