I have a Canvas Power App with a gallery and form on it. Gallery is connected to SharePoint list. In order to display just welcome message for new users I have hidden all controls of gallery and form only when there are 0 items in the gallery for the user logging in to the app. But this welcome message is also shown (for 2-3 seconds) for users who already have items in the gallery, before the gallery and form loads. How do I stop showing this welcome message at all for users who already have items in their gallery?
I'm The visible property of the label put:
CountRows(YourGalleryName.AllItems)=0

@eka24 I am already using the function IsEmpty(Gallery1.AllItems) in Visible property of Label. It didnt help. Do you think your formula behave differently and solve the problem?
Have you tried the formula I gave?
I just tried. With either of our formulae, 1st few seconds just about form loads the message appears and then disappear to allow gallery and form to appear. You can see 4 dotted lines while loading the complete form, the message appears during that time until the form completely loads.
Can you show the formula on the message label visible. Your screenshot is not clear. Are you saying it works for seconds and stop working?
Hi@RameshMukka,
Based on the issue that you mentioned, do you want to show a welcome screen to new users only?
Considering that you are almost there, except for what you said that this welcome message is also shown (for 2-3 seconds) for users who already have items in the gallery.
Please turn the radio off as below and restart your App.
Actually, it is not possible that completely skip the welcome screen at all times the user opens the app except the first time. However, you can make this time much shorter. To achieve this, we can use Timer to short period once the user has already log in.
Here is a thread you can refer to this function: https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Building-Power-Apps/One-off-welcome-screen/td-p/22440
