Cannot migrate apps from legacy environment

Now that the legacy environments going away on 15th of Feb, and PowerApps studio keeps crashing when I try to open my apps, I am completely strangled with my apps. (Not just myself but the entire company)

I opened a ticket with the help desk and I haven't received a reply for months! Can someone please tell me what am I suppose to do in order to keep my apps live?

PS: recreating apps from the scratch in a new environment is not an option because we have about 25 actively used apps and some took months to complete.

You can save apps on local storage as files, using the PowerApps Studio application, or using the PowerApps Web Studio. Later, each app can then be imported back into a new environment. Data sources may become invalid as a result of the move between environments. This means that you will have to delete and recreate data sources after migrating the app. For detailed information, see Environment and tenant app migration for more information.

Thanks for your comment. of course, I tried else I wouldn't know that it fails. My problem is that I can't edit apps in Studio but only on the web. Studio keeps crashing every time I try to open my apps in edit mode. (But my apps work fine in view mode).

I can still save an app to my computer using the web studio but there's no option to open an app in the new environment on the web studio.

I have the latest version of studio and Windows 10 1607 (Build 14393.693) - not a preview build. And I tried reinstalling PowerApps studio several times and reinstalling Windows as well but nothing worked.

Any suggestions?

After saving the app, we need:

Switch Environments:

For PowerApps Studio for web, return to http://web.powerapps.com to switch your environment and then re-open PowerApps Studio for web in the browser, which will now be in the destination environment. Click or tap Open in the left nav bar, and then click or tap Browse.

Hi @v-micsh-msft

I cannot find any open button after switching environments. Please see the menu that I'm getting.

Any Ideas?

@afernando,

Click the New app button at the bottom to open PowerApps studio for web, after that, you would be able to see the open button when it opens.
