To add a photo taken by camera into the SharePoint list in PowerApps.
Thanks,
@cyberco01 ,
A broad question - please read this blog of mine and tell me which option suits your needs.
Please click Accept as solution if my post helped you solve your issue. This will help others find it more readily. It also closes the item. If the content was useful in other ways, please consider giving it Thumbs Up.
Hi @cyberco01 ,
Just checking if you got the result you were looking for on this thread. Happy to help further if not.
@WarrenBelz , Thanks a lot for checking on this. The blog is informative Sir.
As I new to this, I am not able to understand which step to use for my requirement.
If u can guide me that will be nice. I need to take a photo using camera and save the image as a attachment or as an image in the SharePoint List.
Both options are in the blog - your will need a separate Library if you do not go down the attachment path.
There are two steps - preparing the image - the blog specifically covers a camera photo and then the Flow to send it as an attachment, again detailed step-by-step.
I am happy to help you with code once you have a go at it using all your control, field and list names.
Hi @WarrenBelz,
Is it possible from your side to send a video showing the same.
Sorry, this is not something I have done at this stage - the blog should explain it fairly well. As I said if you have a go at it, I will help you but I have no idea of your data structure etc.
@WarrenBelz ,
Is the below code to be written on a button code in Powerapps.
I understand that the code part - YourFlowName.Run is used to call the flow to save image.
However, I failed to understand where the code above needs to be placed.
Generally on a button to trigger the Flow. It is referencing the picture content you have created and sends it to the destination.
@WarrenBelz
Please let me know - what this parameter means - YourGalleryName.Selected.ID
What data is this parameter expecting in the above code.
That is only an example of the identifier you might want to send to the Library to indicate the image “belongs” to the current item list. The ID is a unique identifier and is commonly used. You can send whatever you want if you have other identifier/s.
