People Picker like sharepoint

I want to create a column similar to SharePoint people picker in Dataverse. Currently, I am taking lookup from the User table is this the right way to create?

    User is the correct column to reference, but to make it look like the SharePoint people picker, you will need a PCF control that uses Fluent UI components and Graph API to get the person's profile picture.
