Unable to create a copy of a file within Microsoft 365 One Drive

I have a file in one of my OneDrive folders and I want to keep the original file and create a copy so I can make edits.  But the only option I have is COPY TO.  I do not want to copy it to another folder, I want to keep it within the same folder.  Google has a Create A Copy option.  Why doesn't Microsoft??
