Copying a DropDown onto Form

Hi everyone!  I have been assigned to create another PowerApps very similar to the one I did before.  However, I learned that the first one I created was on a screen and not in a form.  I won't make that mistake again :).  My question is this.  I have a SP list with 6 columns, but I want to duplicate some of the drop downs that are already on the form from the SP list to make additional dropdowns.  However, every time I copy an existing drop down the drop down shows above the Form in the left pane and not within the form.  How can I duplicate a drop down and make sure it copies in the form area?

You can copy a dropdown and then make sure you are inside the card/form you want to paste it into before you paste it. If you are not inside the proper contain it will default to the screen as the container and drop it at the top of the page. When you do copy this dropdown into the form make sure you make the required changes to make it functional. Change the Update property to point to the new dropdown so that it submits the correct value from the correct dropdown, and also check for places where you would need Parent(Default) added back into it. You can always use the dropdown you are replacing to know where these things need to go.

Hi!  Thank you so much for the guidance.  I have tried this numerous times and have the Form selected (line is showing around the form), but still when I paste the item it's still going to the screen and not the form.  Is there anything else I can try to make sure the form is selected.

I would make sure the specific card in the form is selected. For example select a textbox or something inside the card that you are wanting to add. Or select the old dropdown then paste the new one to make sure you are in the right container. Hope this works for you! If you can take a small GIF of what is happening and post it maybe that would help? If you have a Mac use Shift+CMD+5 and then you can choose an area to screen record. Free online converters from MOV to GIF takes like 10 sec usually.

Thank you so much!  I wasn't selecting a card I was just pasting, but after I selected a card it worked.  Thanks again!
