I created a counter that is incremented by 1 each time the form is submitted, and this works fine. The problem is that if I close the app and reopen it my counter starts at 1 again. I want it to be retain the last count and start from there regardless of how many times the app is opened/closed. What is the best way for me to retain that end value and then pick it up from there?
To do that you have to find somewhere to save the counter when the app is closed. If you are the only one who uses the app and its on Mobile then you can save it using SaveData and LoadData. But those won't work on the web interface. So if the app is used by multiple people then you will have to save the counter to some data source like Excel in OneDrive or SharePoint. Remember that variables are stored locally, so if two people update the counter on different devices you could end up with the non-unique counter numbers.
