Hi All,
I came across a article that is possible to trigger a flow via a button  when in Modern UI but i'm in classic mode and i want to invoce the flow directly from javascript button.

The issue i have is actually what my workflow is suppose to do :-
I just want to update multiple records justr by updating any column.

I have achieved that but i had to use Schedule and used "Recurrence" which means it kicks of after a while..
Why i used recurrence is i couldn't use Get Items as i can't have an action without a trigger.
Is there a way around to do this as to update multiple items i needed to Get Items first with a filter and then used "Apply to each > Update all  items in loop"

Anyway i can do ths without Recurrence?

Thanks in Advance

    Hi @naijacoder,

If you would like to trigger a flow by clicking a button on SharePoint. Then please feel free use the SharePoint trigger For a selected item which should work for your scenario.

    Best regards,

    Mabel

    Hi there,
Just to let you know  your suggestion works if i'm triggering the flow from a mobile thats when i guess "Manually trigger" works. I tried the "For a selected item" and it seemed to work.

Please correct me if 'm wrong..

My outcome is for userd to be able to trigger it from a button in sharepoint somewhere..
I used the  "For a selected item/ added the url in forma as column" and it worked in Modern UI

Thanks for that. Did you then add an option for the manual trigger or you just left it empty.

Will also give the flow buttons a shot.

    Cheers

    Hi @naijacoder,

It seems that you would like to trigger your flow by clicking a button.

Yes, button flows are now available for Microsoft Flow, please check the following doc for a reference:

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/flow/introduction-to-button-flows

According to your description, I have made a flow likes below for your reference:

Please feel free post back if you need more help.

    Best regards,

    Mabel
