I get an error "Unknown Mashup Exception. inner excepiton: Object reference not set to an instance of an object." when submitting a form. But not always...

This happens with an app that was working just fine about month ago... before summer holidays...

You can enter exactly the same data directly to the database so there is nothing wrong with data.

    Hi Paavo,

Could you show me more details about your app?

What’s the data source? Is it based on MicrosoftForms?

What functions are you using in the app?

If you could share some screenshots, it would be better for reproducing this issue on my side.

    Best regards,
    Mabel Mao

    Hi,

It seems to be an issue with decimal datatype.

My locale is fi-FI and I’m using Azure SQL server database.

If I save an integer value everything works just fine. It could be for example 93.00. But if I try to save let’s say 93.45 I get the strange error message.

I’ve tried to change language code in Update field of the data card. I’ve also tried different formats for the data card value.

If I use comma it is always been taken as a thousand separator and it works. But  if I use dot and put anything but double zero after the dot I get the error.
