Unable to use WebApi in pcf hosted in a Custom Page

Hi Power Platform Community,

 

I have build a PCF that calls the WebApi. The WebApi calls are workign like a charm on a Modell Driven App. If I add the PCF to a Custom Page, the webApi call fails with "PCFNonImplementedError: retrieveMultipleRecords: Method not implemented."

 

I have embedded the Custom  Page directly to the stiemape/opened via NavigateTo. Regarding this docs article, using WebApi on a custom page should work.

Did anyone manages to successfully call the webApi from a custom page?

 

I did tried it on a US (crm.) and West Europe (crm4.) trial.
