Hi everyone,

I am trying to work out if it's possible to get a notification when a new Power App is published in any environment in the tenant. I have deployed the CoE and I can search the audit logs but I would prefer to set something up to automate the process.

This article talks about creating an alert but it's not clear how you can set it up and this article talks about creating a custom connector (I have followed the instructions but cannot get them to work).

If anyone has a way of automating alerts when new apps are created then I'd love to hear suggestions.

You can create an alert based on the Audit Logs using the Security Center in Office 365. Go to Policies and Rules > Activity Alerts > +New Alert policy. In Activities scroll down to the PowerApps app section or search for Publish. Give it a name and pick who to send it to. That's all it takes.

Does anyone know if this still a thing? I logged in today to try create the rule and couldn't find any activities for Power Apps.

The information is still tracked in the Audit Logs and can be searched for. But there doesn't seem to be a way anymore to create an alert in the Alerts and Policies that keys off these activities in the Audit Logs. But you can use Power Automate to monitor the Audit logs for specific events.
