Search inside attachments

Hello Experts,

Is there a way to search the contents inside an attachment in a list entry like outlook or windows explorer search?

Source is sharepoint list and I am able to make a gallery and search on all fields but there is an attachment in each item and would make the tool very good if I can get the search command look inside the content of the attachments too..

Please advicse.

Do you want to filter the SP list items within the Gallery based on the content of attachments?

I have made a test on my side, if you want to filter the SP list items within the Gallery based on the content of attachments, I afraid that there is no way to achieve your needs in PowerApps currently.

yes Kris.

You got the scenario/expectation right.
I need to filter the gallery item based on the search including attachments content... pretty intresting but that would be cool...

Kris - do you think of any ways we can read the content of the attachment and save it in a column in the data source [in my case sharepoint list]?

is it possible?
