Default Solution/ Common Data Service DS - What is the difference and how to clean?

Hei!

I am planning to do some cleanup in our default environment. A lot of stuff is thrown into the default solution. Now we have 2 default solutions and I am confused over the differences and how I can clean these.

Default Solution

This is the underlying solution for all environments and can not be exported. the default solution contains all of the system solutions and is also the default location for all solution components.

Which means that every component you create is also in the default solution.

Now we have 2 default solutions

No, a Power Apps environment can only have one preferred solution at a time, which acts as the default for new components.

I see both a solution called:

Default Solution

Common Data Service Default (Preferred)

Thus, it is even more ocnfusing when you see 2.
