I want to use a map in a Power App that has 4 regions. When a user clicks on a region, I want a value to be set on the form. Is this possible? I want to use an image map with 4 clickable areas.
Thanks for any help on this.
Is the value you populating on the form in addition to the field you would be using to display the map or is it the same field?
@ahhollan I would most likely use a gallery or buttons layered on top of the map image in order to achieve the "click" action. Then you will need a variable value to set when the area is clicked. Let me know if this gives you the direction you need?
If the map image is static with no data to show, you can use the button overlay approach.
If the regions are dynamic , map can be zoomedm has pins or custom visualizations, azure map can be used. On the event you can send values back via bound properties or have a button inside control to confirm before sending.
