Retrieving a record from the table for the last saved record for a selected item.

Hello, i am contructing an application to collect data. I have one field that needs to display the last saved record for a select item in a gallery. I believe i would have to patch using a date function but i can not figure it out. Thank you for any help you can provide.

Hi CU18101330-0,

You could use something like this:

First(SortByColumns(Filter(DataSource, ID = Gallery.Selected.ID), "Created", SortOrder.Descending)).ColumntoDisplay

Replace Created with CreatedOn or something for Dataverse table.

Basically in the above formula,

1. we are first filtering Data for the Selected Item

2. Sorting it by Created Data in Descending order so that the latest item is at the top.

3. Getting the column value we want to display from the first record.
