Filtering power bi visual using power apps visual?

Hi all,

I created an app using the same data table I’m using in a power bi report. Ideally what I wanted to do was use the “Powerapps visual” (in power bi) to show the power app I created, and have the power app visual filter my power bi table based on the selections I made inside the powerapp visual.

I’m unable to do so. However I am able to filter the power app when I click on my power bi table - I want the exact opposite.

Any tips on how to accomplish what I’m trying to do?

    Hi @Anonymous ,

Based on "However I am able to filter the power app when I click on my power bi table - I want the exact opposite.", do you want to click powerapps visual and then data in powerbi will be filtered?

I'm afraid it's not supported to make this.

PowerApps visual is just a compoment of PowerBi report to display data.

There's no property of PowerApps visual that can be used in PowerBi report.

In PowerApps visual, the PowerBIIntegration object acts like any other PowerApps read-only data source or collection.

It can be used as a data source in powerapps visual.

Here's a doc about it for your reference:

    Best regards,
