How to receive/send emails in powerapps from shared mailbox

Hi,

I am currently trying to build a ticketing system in Power apps, and I was wondering if there is a way to automatically get emails inside data verse.
So whenever we receive an email in our support@example.com mailbox, we want to see this inside power apps (but only the support mailbox).

And only users that have access to that mailbox can see the mails inside power apps.

Unless they have access to a ticket, then every mail related to that ticket needs to be visible to that user.
Once we are able to receive mails, we would also like to send emails from that shared mailbox to the customer. (so never from the email address of the user, only from the shared mailbox)

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

Billy

    Hello, @Billy_C ,

You will have to use Power Automate when new email arrives action.

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-automate/email-triggers#trigger-a-cloud-flow-based-on-an-emails-subject

Based on the mail box, then you need to set the Business unit of your data record that is created from the Email. Now to get the business unit and assign it to the record, this article can help get some insight for how you can achieve this:

Okay, I see, the reason why I am asking is that I saw several people say to use the OOB email table and use dynamics 365 settings to automate mail traffic, and I was never able to fully understand it. Hence, I was wondering what the best option would be to properly manage emails from our support mailbox and auto create tickets from it properly.
