Base on the article:

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/licensing/news/updates-to-microsoft-365-dynamics-365-powerapps-and-microsoft-flow-licensing

Effective October 1, 2019, we are making the following changes:

Updates to Dynamics 365 licensing

  • Dynamics 365 is moving from the multi-application, one-size-fits-all Customer Engagement (CE), Unified Operations (UO), and Dynamics 365 Plans to individual applications that allow customers to buy just what they need, when they need it.
  • We are making refinements to restricted and unrestricted entities with the goal of enabling more users to access data directly through a PowerApps application or Flow workflow without requiring a Dynamics 365 license. The case entity will now be available to PowerApps and Flow users to create, read, update, and delete. Selection of Dynamics 365 for Sales entities will be added to the restricted entities list. Learn more about restricted entities here.

Is there any new updates about the list restricted entity of Dynamics 365 which is specifically defined for Powerapps?

(this article https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/common-data-service/data-platform-restricted-entities is out of date so don't lead me to it)

I don't think Microsoft have released any updated information on this yet. As far as I know, the document that is currently out of date will be updated when this information is released

    Hi @tomtominh ,

Currently, there is no doc released about the list restricted entity of Dynamics 365 which is specifically defined for Powerapps.

If you would like this feature/doc to be released within PowerApps, please consider submit an idea to PowerApps Ideas Fourm:

Thanks for supporting me. Hope that MS will update it soon, because if we develop in Restricted Entity and then suddenly they shut it down it is going to break our system.

Good news is that the restricted entity list is now longer out of date and have been updated. Only a few essential Dynamics entities are left restricted so a lot of use cases can be handled by switching the Dynamics 365 Team member license to a Power Apps license. I have collected info around this and put them into this blog post, hope it is worth the read: https://iiu.dk/2020/05/02/dynamics-365-team-member/
