I have created a simple form that I need to control what the user enters. let's call is Column A. To do this I've got a datacard in my app within a form and it's set to allowed Values, and in the Items control I've linked to a Excel table that has the 152 options that the user can choose from.

This works in terms of the dropdown box having all the options from my Excel table, but when I choose one and submit the form, the option I have chosen does not write to the Sharepoint list and is just blank.

Is what I'm trying to do possible? using a Table to populate the dropdown choices and then writing the option chosen to the Sharepoint list column the datacard is linked to?
