Hello everyone.

I hope you are doing well. I am pretty newbie to Power apps. I am trying to create a Power apps to track user location ( lat and longitude) save it to sharepoint lists and use that to show it in Bing/Google maps. I got Sharepoint list with user lat and longitude information but I dont know where/how I can map it to the map in power apps. Any suggestions ? Thanks

    Which map are you using ? Geospatial features via the standard map component ?

    Hi @dollarsign86 ,

    To launch in Google Maps (I have used ThisItem here which will work from an icon in a gallery or form

    Launch("https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=" & ThisItem.Latitude & "," & ThisItem.Longitude)

    for Bing Maps (this is from an Image Control again using a gallery)

    BingMaps.GetMapV2(
     "canvaslight",
     15,
     GalleryName.Selected.Latitude,
     GalleryName.Selected.Longitude,
     {
     pushpinLatitude: GalleryName.Selected.Latitude,
     pushpinLongitude: GalleryName.Selected.Longitude,
     pushpinIconStyle: 1
     }
    )

    In the Items property of the Map control use your sharepoint list as the datasource.

    Then supply these additional properties with the code shown below and the map will show pins for each location.

    ItemsLabels: SharepointListname.Labels

    ItemsLatitudes: SharepointListname.Latitiudes

    ItemsLongitudes: SharepointListname.Longitudes

    I assume that you are using Geospatial map

    1. Add a data source connector to connect to your SharePoint List

    2. On the map property named "Items" add  [DataSourceConnectorName.Label]

    3. On the map property named "ItemsLatitudes" add [DataSourceConnectorName.Latitude]

    4. On the map property named "ItemsLongitudes" add  [DataSourceConnectorName.Longitude]

    Hi @dollarsign86 ,

    Just clarifying that I answered your specific question on Google and Bing Maps. If you have Geospatial features enabled in your environment, you can also use the Map function.
