Dear,

I am looking for a more robust alternative to a current dataflow. The flow gets data from an external thirdparty API, combined with Dataverse data, and imports the result back into Dataverse.

Currently this dataflow is running each 30 minutes (scheduled refresh), but we would like to run it every five minutes.

I have been looking into Azure Data Factory, but it seems that this does not allow to connect to third party APIs somehow, or did I miss something?

How about making a Power Automate flow that starts the dataflow instead of using the dataflows scheduled refresh? Then run the Power Automate flow every 5 minutes.

Data Factory absolutely allows for connecting to third party APIs. Check this docs page:
