Remove Unwanted Flows and Data Sources

How can I remove the Flows or data sources that I am not using anymore from an app?

I was in process of creating an app, and I was testing it with different Flows/data sources. I finalized the app, and no longer need the flows/data sources that I was testing with. But now, I can’t find a way to remove them from the app. This is an issue, since I had a notification in one of the flows at the beginning. But the final version of the app is not using that flow anymore, but every time a user log in, the app is asking the user for authentication for notification.  Flows.JPG

    Hi Sahba-S,

To use a flow in an app, I assume that you should have a button for it. Please try to delete the button with the action from your app.

From the screenshot you provided, all the flows in the environment that are triggered by a PowerApps button will be displayed when you click the Flows tab under Action.

If you don’t want one of the flows to show on the app, please consider to remove it from the Flow portal.

For your scenario, please remove the function you are using for the flow, then it won’t work any longer.

Please have a try with it.

    Best regards,
    Mabel Mao

I have the same issue. I clicked the "flow" options under the action tab in powerapps and inadvertintly added a flow to the OnVisible action of a screen. I removed the function calling the flow however the flow still appears in the list of flows used in the app.  I cannot simply delete the "button" as suggested because the screen now heavily used. This issue exists even when i delete the flow from my flow portal.

@v-yamao-msft I just ran a simple test of creating a blank PowerApp with a single a button. I then added a flow action to that button and checked that the flow appears in the list below... it appears as expect. I deleted the button (saved and published) and the flow still appears in the list. I then took it a step further and deleted the flow itself, and the flow still appears.

Was there an answer to this?

It's preventing from exporting a powerapp as a package 😞

I am experiencing the same issue. I removed the Flows in the Flow Center and I am now receiving an error on the package export.

Did you find a way to fix it?

    Hello,

Did you try View --> Data sources ---> click on ... of the flow you want to remove and press remove?

they have added the functionality during one of the upgrades.

Go to View and click on Datasources, and you will see a list of data sources and flows used in the app. The option menu (3 horizontal dots) for datasources has the refresh and remove functionality and for flows is has the remove.
