I am seeking help/suggestions with some issues that I am facing my customized list form in PowerApps-

Background- This is a custom list with about 150 odd columns. I am using PowerApps for new, edit and view forms. The form has 2 sections which are visible to seaparate set of users based on their permissions which I am controlling through a flow.

1. 8 out of 10 times when I open the form it shows me the correct section, but then 2 times it does not. However when I close and reopen the form, It fixes the issue. I looked into the flow history and the flow it shows successful execution and no errors there.

2. I have a Save as Draft button on the form, that looks at 1 required field in order to be able to save the form. It was working alright until mid this week. Now when I click on the button it shows that it processing, flickers a little and then nothing happens. This is also very random and works intermittently.

3. I added some new fields to the list and added them to the form, after publishing i realized then most the dropdowns in form had stopped working. I had to refresh the dataconnection a few times to get that back to working. I am not sure why did I have to do that over and over again. This has happened in the past as well and multiple refreshes on the dataconnection resolved the issue.

These are some of the strange behaviors that we are noticing on the form which is making me question the reliability and scalibility limits of PowerApps.

Any ideas/suggestions are welcome.

Hi @anka ,

For your first and second qurstion, please consider turn off the "Improved app rendering (finla validation)" option within Advanced settings of App settings of your app, then re-publish your app, check if the issue is solved.

Also please consider re-store your app to previous version, then try it again, check if the issue is fixed. More details about restoring app to previous version, please check the following article:

For your third question, it is an known issue that when you added some new fields into your SP list data source, the changes would not take effect immediately. As an fixed solution, please consider remove the Edit form in your app, then re-add a new one, and connect it to your SP List, then check if the issue is solved.

@v-xida-msft, thank you for your response. Appreciate your help here.

Changing the App rendering setting did not fix the issue. Here it's not letting me attach the view that i created to demostrate the error. When i click on submit, I see a teh screen flickers an dthen nothing happens. It was working randomly until last week, but it has totally stopped working now. I wonder if any update from MS is interferring with the app. Note- This is a custom list form, not a canvas app.

I do not have an edit form on the screen, i am using the same form for new, edit and view form and controlling them through integration control.

@v-xida-msft, I tried to lookup the error by debugging in the browser and i see the following error code in console tab: "Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 400 ()"
