MS Teams Approvals app - Emails

Good day. By design, the MS Teams Approvals application does not send email. It only triggers alerts within MS Teams. For each approval request (to the approver) and approval (back to sender), we want to send emails as well. I've been struggling to get the trigger in Power Automate to build this flow. Any assistance will be appreciated.

As you noted, the Approvals app in Microsoft Teams currently only sends notifications via Teams and does not have a built-in feature to send email notifications and you can achieve this functionality using Power Automate. The approval actions in Power Automate include:

When you use one of the actions to create an approval, just be sure notifications are enabled:

There is no trigger for approvals. You need to use some other trigger, which will depend on your needs.

Thanks David. I created the approval using templates in MS Teams Approval add-on. So nothing originated from Power Automate. I had a look at the actions in Power Automate and nothing really integrates with the MS Teams add-on, or create the possibility of interacting with this already created approval. Does this mean i should scrap the MS Teams approval way and create a new automation from scratch in Power Automate? Is there perhaps a repository where i can find this auto-created approval workflow in MS Teams? I did have a look at My flows and My solutions, but can't find it.
