Hi,

The formatted date on power automate and the output on email is displaying wrong. I have formatted my date to display --

formatDateTime(item()?['duedate'],'ddd MMM yyyy'); but the email outlook records are subtracting one day. My original records are on Teresa24486_1-1628065490547.png and its a Thursday on the calendar. On the email it shows Wed Sep 2021.

    If this date is coming from DataVerse , then it is in UTC format so you will need to convert it to your local time zone.

    Hi,

    This is a part of my flow where I used the convert time control:

    Teresa24486_0-1628313491246.png

    but my output is as seen below which is one day less when it displays as the day of the week:

    Teresa24486_1-1628313652679.png

    When in date format it displays the correct date:

    From the flow run history can you show the convert timezone step input and output?

    Input:

    Teresa24486_1-1628318003103.png

    Error Details:

    The execution of template action 'Select' failed: The evaluation of 'query' action 'where' expression '{
    "Due Date": "@convertTimeZone('bg_expirydate','UTC','Arab Standard Time')"
    }' failed: 'In function 'convertTimeZone', the value provided for date time string 'bg_expirydate' was not valid. The datetime string must match ISO 8601 format.'.

    Moreover, when trying to format date using Select control using expressions, it doesnt display all the column names. Copy- pasting the actual column name gives me the above error details.

    formatdatetime doesnt work seamlessly using expressions as I had to write the actual column name  instead of choosing from the columns list. So, with regard to my original post, I had to tweak a little to get the desired output. In the formatdatetime(), I added addDays() and that solved my issue.
