How do you vertical align a modern number or text input?

There doesnt seem to be a vertical align option.
 
My template has a height of 30, inputs have a height of 20 with a y value of 5. Font size is 10

    There isn't but you can use the padding property and a few formulas to adjust it based on the height and font size.

    Honestly there is a lot of options to try. is that a Text Box or Label? What type of control is it?
     
    You say vertically align, align how like center it?
    Couple option
     
    1. Make the Label / Input the same physical size as the container that is holding it. Then set the Text to Vertically centered in the Text control and bingo
     
    2. Set the Y value for the control to (I mean the input) be something like
     
    (MyParentContainer.Height / 2) + (Self.Height / 2)
     
    So if the arent container is 400 tall, it will split that in 2
    So 200
    But you have to also device the text input height / 2 so that it offsets only HALF of itself above the midpoint of the container.
