Combo box in a Form looks different

Hello Power Platform Community,

I'm using Dataverse for Teams.

I have a Form with several Datacards.

For one of the Datacards I've added two Combo boxes.

As you can see both Combo boxes have the grey colour as their background, which is the same as the Date column at the end.

But once I save the Form and it goes into View mode, the Combo boxes become even lighter.

The Combo boxes DisplayMode is always Edit, it also offered Disabled and View, but it makes no difference.

Any idea why this is happening please? I don't want them changing the background colour when the form is in View mode. I want them to keep the darker grey colour as in image one.

Thanks very much,

Garry

    Hi @GarryPope ,

The two combo boxes are in Disabled display mode:

Could you please share the DisplayMode of the Combo boxes and the Data Cards they belong to?

Basically DisplayMode of Data Cards and any controls in the Cards should be:

    Parent.DisplayMode

However, there is no Disabled mode for an Edit Form, so I'm not sure of what you have set for the Form.

    Hello @v-jefferni,

Thanks for the reply. I ended up giving up on this and went with a different approach.

Thanks for your help though. Much appreciated.
