In several of the tutorials that I've watched on YouTube, the introductory screen of PowerApps displays nine templates. On my screen today, I only see four. Does anyone know why that is? Are there more templates stored elsewhere?

We are updating existing templates and adding support for new templates regularly. So, you should see more templates available in the coming weeks.

A number of post and articles I have looked at on this forum reference - the contacts template. Is this template available elsewhere? It is not one of the 4 provided in the tools as a template.

I have the same problem. I see seven templates but I have read forum posts where other templates has been mentioned, for example an Contest registration app. (https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/PowerApps-Forum/Event-Registration-Ticket-Signup/m-p/4857#M2241)
