I am struggling to understand the differences between a multi-stream dashboard and a single-stream dashboard. I read the following documentation:
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-apps/maker/model-driven-apps/configure-interactive-experience-dashboards
Unfortunately I'm still struggling to get my head around it. Could someone please explain to me in a very simple way what is meant by a single-stream and a multi-stream dashboard?.
Thanks in advance.
Hi @HamidBee
If you substitute the word 'stream' with 'table', the documentation might make a little bit more sense to you..
A multi-stream dashboard usually includes multiple views from one or more tables. A typical layout shows charts across the top row of the dashboard with cells in the bottom row that display the details of the selected item in the top row.
A single stream dashboard provides a more focused view of data. This type of dashboard displays a stream/list of data along the left-hand side, and visual charts and tiles on the right-hand side.
Hi @timl. I think the example of understanding streams as tables is a good idea. I'll use that as a rule of thumb for now. I haven't actually built a dashboard like this yet in Power Apps. I'm sure it'll make more sense once I build one. Thanks.
