Formatting Number Issue

Hello, guys,

I have An App and dataverse form.
And I would like to format my Value as Text(Parent.Default; "### ### ##0.00").

But some users got an error that Value is not a number and this column is empty into powerApps,
I think this collision related to users language or another accounts options.

So, how to replace Text(Parent.Default; "### ### ##0.00") or how to fix this bug?

    Hi,

You could try wrapping the Parent.Default in a Value() function to convert the value to a number before the formatting takes place.

    Text(Value(Parent.Default), "### ### ##0.00")

Could you please give more details such as samples of the data that would be stored in the Parent.Default part and what they type of the column is?

    Sure,

Dataverse table, Number (Decimal) Column with Value = 3451670

    Some users see 3 451 670.00
Some users see blank column and error about this is not number if we try to input there.

    Magic

Maybe "." there is not a valid format for number for such users with there language options?

Yes that could be the case, in terms of the Text function you can pass in a language as the third parameter such as "en-US" to set it to format is US style for everyone.

    Text(Value(Parent.Default), "### ### ##0.00","en-US")

I found how to fix it.
    Text(Parent.Default; "#,##0.00")
Some language formats don't supports  spaces on number formats.
This type diplays number As 123,456.00 or 123 456.00 for different users options.
