Hi, hope people are well. I've been informed that if someone had a sharepoint list URL then they'd be able to run an excel query and pull the contents of the list, even if that list hadnt been shared with them? Is this true, thanks in advance

I have the same question (0)

    Hi,
I think that this is not possible. If you haven't access to the list you can't extract the data from any source.

Must have been shared. Best bet is to check permissions in SharePoint by user... probably custom permissions on the file.
