How to read in an Excel file from a SharePoint Online without Microsoft Power Automate Premium features?

Hello,

I want to read in an Excel file which is stored on a SharePoint Online. Right now there is no connector to read in Excel files from SharePoint Online, just for Excel files stored local or on an OneDrive. The Power Apps Social Media team pointed me to this workaround: https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Building-Power-Apps-Formerly/Read-Excel-Stored-in-SharePoint/m-p/328487/highlight/true#M94376. This is no workaround/solution for my issue because if I pay for PowerApps, I don't want to pay for another Microsoft product (Microsoft Power Automate) just because Power Apps is missing a very basic feature and the workaround needs a Microsoft Power Automate Premium action ("Response"). Is there any workaround without Microsoft Flow Premium actions/triggers involved so the customer doesn't have to pay twice?

Thank you for your help!

Best Regards,

No, there is not any way to do this in PowerApps currently.  If you would like to see this feature added to PowerApps go vote for the Idea below.  This Idea currently has a planned status.  The more votes it gets the higher priority it is given so go make your voice heard.
