Hello Team,

I am looking for functionality allowing the user to create new lookup records while clicking on the new inline button without opening a new popup window or modal pop-up.

The link you provided just opens a quick create form with a value pre-populated - it is not creating records without opening another form etc.

If you want to open the new form by sliding it out then you will need to enable and configure a quick create form on the Table the lookup is to .https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-apps/maker/model-driven-apps/create-edit-quick-create-forms

To pre-populate data off the current record you are on you would need to configure relationship mapping .https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/customerengagement/on-premises/customize/map-entity-fields?view=op-9-1

The 'special' example they show is that for Contact, Account and Customer Lookup fields there is some additional functionality that will attempt to pre-fill off what the user typed in the lookup search.
