I want to build a PowerApps. the PowerApps functions are a lot but I cannot personalize the app for each user so the users can only view data relevant to them. I have tried methods like On start - search office365users.myprofile() .Mailnickname but I am getting syntax error. I tried every possible syntax and it doesn't allow me to do just that. all I need is for the PowerApps to launch and search for the users and show information only relevant to that user and set the permission accordingly. and this is on an organization level. " all the organization users have office365 profiles, they PowerApps is going to be launched from teams which means the info I need should already be entered while in teams." I have hit a wall at this point and I would love to find the solution.
Hi @omareisa,
Please add this ClearCollect(coll_userprofile,Office365Users.UserProfile(User().Email)) as shown below.
Use the coll_userprofile, to display the data.
Hope this will help you. Please give a like / accept it as a solution. 🙂
I have used the command, thank you for that.
however, is there a way to view the data only relevant to the user who opened the application?
@omareisa, "User().Email" will filter the current logged in user .
