Hi,
I am facing a problem with agent when it refuses to work when "No authentication" is on.
The chat shows the error: "Error Message: Authentication is not configured for this bot".
I am trying to make it web bot.
Could anyone please help me to understand where to look further and what is the reason for that?
From the screenshot, we can see that you have used Sharepoint as knowledge source. If you're using SharePoint, Dataverse, or enterprise data using Microsoft Graph connectors, you need to incorporate authentication.
By default, agents created in Copilot Studio and in Microsoft Teams are configured with the Authenticate with Microsoft authentication option, which works in environments such as Microsoft Teams, Power Apps, and Microsoft 365 Copilot. Can you try changing the authentication type and try it once.
Ideally we need to go for Manual authentication to make your copilot work on Custom website.
