Field missing from real-time process creation options

I'm trying to create a real-time process that triggers when a date field is changed on a record. However, when I create the process, and select it to run when "record fields change," I only see a subset of my columns available to be selected.

I thought it was maybe because the field was set as "Date Only," but I created four tests that are all varying settings of Date & Time and none of them appear to be available when clicking "Select." What am I missing? Any help would be appreciated.

I have the same question (0)

I have not been able to replicate the same situation myself. It works for me.

    • Are you sure the field name is correct? Check the field settings - the name displayed on the form may be different than the actual name.
    • Try to publish all customizations
    • Re-create this field with analogous parameters. In the worst case, you'll just have to copy the data into a new field.

    Is the column autocalculated one?

    • You can’t trigger workflows or plug-ins on calculated columns.

Yeah, I am still experiencing the issue. I have created the column and it is not a calculated column. In fact, I see quite a few columns missing from the selector. I have published all customizations both in the solution I'm working in and the default solution, I have added the columns to default views and forms, and still it does not appear in the selection popup. Anything else I can try?

Just to document my process. I open the solution, open the table, create a new column:

I publish the changes. Then I create a new real-time process. When I open up the process, I don't see the field:

I have no idea what has happened in my environment/tenant, but today all of the affected custom columns are now renamed with their internal names as their display names:

Then, when I click to open the affected columns, they don't actually have a column name:

Now if I fill in the column name (again) and save, it is available to use.

The only things I changed were to disable administrative mode on my environment, and to perform an environment update in the admin portal. I hope this helps anyone else that runs into this issue! Now to go fix all of my columns...
