Problem with sharing app (Excel list as Database)

Hi,

I'm having the problem with sharing the app with my community, actually the users are getting error that, the specified record was not found.

I've developed the app, which uses Excel Tables as Database (hosted on my OneDrive for Business), but users cannot use it.

All Excel files and other lists have already shared with users, and they can open it, but when they try to use the app, they are getting the following error. (attached picture)

The users are external users, already added in the tenant as a guest user.

I hope someone has any advice, what I'm doing wrong.

Thanks in advance

    Hi @tdzevad ,

Please try some of the proposed actions from this post:

    Hi,

I recommend moving your Excel file to SharePoint. Indeed, there is a limitation in the One Drive For Business connector. This one does not allow access to files that are shared between different tenants. You can refer to the following documentation: "Accessing shared files across tenant hostname boundaries is not supported. Example: a user in contoso-my.sharepoint.com cannot access a file in microsoft-my.sharepoint.com"

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/connectors/onedriveforbusiness/#known-issues-and-limitations

That could be a solution, but now I'm confused with so many errors after migrating to the Sharepoint lists.

The app is working normally with the Excel sheets, but after I migrated it to lists, there are over 300 Formulas errors.

What can be a problem with it?

No need to migrate everything to a SharePoint list. Just move your Excel file to a SharePoint Site and use the Excel Online (Business) connector.

Good, that works, thank you so much!

But is there any solution to move from excel to lists, and avoid editing 500+ formulas?

After checking, I am afraid that even this approach will not work. External users cannot access the excel file via Power Apps. Could you please confirm?

Correct, the only way I managed to use it was to migrate from excel to MS Lists. But I had to edit each Form etc...

    Thanks for help!

And just one question, 😄 is it possible to define Email address which will be used for sending emails from App. e.g. booking@domain.com?

    Current settings:

    Office365Outlook.SendEmailV2(EmailTO.Text, "Buchung abgelehnt", AbgelehntManagerhtml.HtmlText, { Cc:"user@domain.com "});

But it is using user's Email address.

Edit! I've found a solution, not popular, but it is what it is. I have to add permissions for each user that can send from a defined address, or there is any other way to do it?

    Thanks!
