What is the maximum number of Dataverse column limit which can be added in Canvas PowerApps.

Hi All,

I am having a requirement to build canvas app with Dataverse as a DataSource.

The Dataverse table needs to have 600 plus columns created and that columns need to be used in canvas app.

My query is it possible to have 600 plus columns used in single canvas app?

Has anyone created any applications with such similar requirements with large number columns used in single app?

Hi @Xen - I do not believe this is documented anywhere, but given there is a recommended soft limit of 500 controls in an app, ostensibly 600 fields would degrade performance of your app significantly.

I would seriously rethink your design if you need 600 fields.

there is a limitation or bug if you create column of same type more than 12 times than columns will not work properly it applied for persons,lookupcolumn .
and also if you have 600 columns you would face lot of issues.
I worked on list with nearly 250columns some previous developer developed and that's lot of pain.i have flows which takes 1 to 2 hrs to load because of huge number of columns. at the end i suggested the users that it will be good if you break into multiple list so than changed the architecture design and broke into different list.
