Hi jwan_gain
As per my understanding, the issue is on the portal side. I think you need to clarify highlighted part more "in my Portal app when user logged in and fill in the tables field, it save in the dataverse as new record but when the same user fill in again the table then the records updated in new row in the table"
Let me know if I can provide you with more details.
Thanks

i created one Table in dataverse to use it in my portal app, but every time my users log in and submit the table i get new row in the dataverse for this table, is there way to merge all rows they belong to same user under just one row and the updates go there ?
Hi jwan_gain,
Instead of merging records. Do you not think you need to stop record creation from the portal on the submit button? Sorry if it does not make sense.
Abdul Wahab
You are right ! But that submit button belongs to table its come from dataverse, ...to stop it? Will be good if the new records come at same row when user submit again the table -----as update maybe?
Sorry maybe i was not clear enough: @AbdulWahab i have a 5 basic forms created (not advanced Form): and i inser the whole Forms to my portal App, In the dataversem, when i go to tables -- > to my Table (one Table has 5 basic Forms) i see the update records from the User, when he submit the form as new row at my table, and i want to have just one row, every row belongs to one User, and when the User submit again or on another Form at same table should the Records update it at the same row.. w shokran salafan 🙂 Jwan Ibrahim
Are you using Entity List or just Entity Form?
hi Abdul Wahab 🙂 i use just Entity Form (i created 5 forms) all of them under one Table ..
That is the reason your portal user is creating records every time.
You should need to use Web Page + Entity List.
Your portal user should see something like the below:
Thank you so much for helping 🙂 but i didnt understand why my users should see the List ?! can you explain more please,, am not so much Professional on that 😞 thanks again
Hello, @jwan_gain , What is the mode of your Form?
You might need two forms, one to Insert and one to Edit. Add them to two different sections pages accordingly.
Mode: Select one of the following options:
Insert: Indicates the form should insert a new record upon submission.
Edit: Indicates the form should edit an existing record.
Read only: Indicates the form should display an existing record's non-editable form.
Check this documentation for more info. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-apps/maker/portals/add-form
