Employee Ideas - Power App is gone

Hi all,

Had been using the pre-built PowerApp Employee Ideas or Ideas, and over the weekend it completely disappeared, anyone have any insight?

I'm having the same issue. MS tech support has suggested clearing the cache and uninstalling/reinstalling, both of which I've done and neither helped. Other members of my team can still see the Employee Ideas tab in the desktop app, but if they try to look at it in Sharepoint, it disappears and they can't get it back. Very frustrating.

I have a similar issue. My tabs for Empoloyee Ideas have disappeared, and when I search in the apps I get no results. I was the only person on the team so I'm not able to compare it to anyone else, but it definitely looks like it was deleted with no warning. I have tried the Windows desktop app as well as the web based app. The only evidence that it was ever there is when I submitted an idea it sent a notification to the chat, but everything else is gone.

Update: I used MS Edge to sign into Teams (I had been using Chrome before) and then went to my Team and the missing tab was there. When I then signed out of my desktop app and signed back in again, the tab was there as well. Crossing my fingers that it stays!

I have noticed it is gone to, not sure if this is a strategic move or a bug from Microsoft. Considering that the app wasn't updated for the last 2-3 years I think they might have decided to remove it for now.

On the bright side we have an amazing idea management solution, we built Ideas by Sideways 6 natively for Teams App. Of course as the product lead I am very biased but I would love you to give it a shot. As of 8/1/23 the Employee App is gone from our Teams (GCC). How can we get this back? It is strange that we are seeing the app in a previous team, but we are unable to add it to a new team.

@Ryan12 , Try using MS Edge to sign into Teams and look for it there. For some reason, looking at it that way pushed it back into my Teams app.
