I'm encountering a problem with my decimal representation. I've created an app in Power Apps and have a gallery displaying a table from OneDrive. However, when I load the numbers into my DataCard, the format of the number shows with a period "0.0". Yet, in my Excel list, it appears with a comma ",". Interestingly, on another device, it shows with a period both in my Excel list and in Power Apps.
Furthermore, when I change the number in the DataCard in Power Apps to "0.9", it saves in my Excel list as "99". It seems that the decimal point isn't being preserved correctly.
All devices are set to the same language. Can anyone assist me, please?
Hi @Clausii
>>the format of the number shows with a period "0.0".
This is almost definitely due to language settings. How are you accessing Power Apps? If it's through a browser, it's the language setting of the browser that's important, rather than the language of device. Can you confirm the language of your browser?
hi @timl
All of my language settings are set to German, both in Power Apps and in the browser, as well as in Excel, which I use solely in the browser. It's odd that when I have "." in Excel and Power Apps on another system, and then input the numerical value 0.90 in Power Apps, I still get only 99 in my Excel list, meaning it doesn't recognize the period
So just to clarify, German appears at the very top of the language list like so?
Yeah all my settings are on German
On the office.com site my language is English but when I go to the settings it is in German.
I could find a way to change it
